About Us

Empowering Abilities, Creating Equality

At Bumi Setara, we believe that every individual, regardless of ability, deserves a chance to thrive in a society that is inclusive, equal, and full of opportunities. Founded in 2016 by Ni Putu Candra Dewi and her team, we started as a social initiative focused on advocating for the rights of people with disabilities in Indonesia through scholarship programs.

Today, we’ve grown into an intersectional feminist organization, dedicated to empowering disabled youth and women, driving social change, and fostering innovation. We create programs that give people with disabilities the tools they need to succeed, while working tirelessly to raise awareness, influence policy, and break down societal barriers.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to advocate for the rights of people with disabilities, to empower them with education and opportunities, and to build a more inclusive society for all. We work together with local communities, government bodies, and like-minded organizations to turn this vision into reality.

Join us in our mission to create a world where everyone is valued, respected, and included.
